2017 Automotive Concours :  Sunday, September 24th

10:00am-4:00pm

Benefitting:  Nipomo Food Basket and Nipomo High School Athletic Programs

We are happy to announce, the Monarch Dunes Golf Course will again donate its Challenge Course for the 2nd annual Automotive Concours, providing a spectacular stage for vintage automobiles and a memorable day shared with family and friends.

The event will provide shuttle service, allowing transportation throughout the venue, spanning all automobile and vendor locations, as well as the Butterfly Grill, Adelina’s Bistro, the Marketplace and Sandalwood Spa.

With a projected increase of more than 30% in vintage and classic automobile participants, and vendors, we expect to see marked increase in spectators as well.  Continuing this year as an “Invitational” event, the Automobile and Vendor Selection Committees are selecting the “Top of the Mark” when it comes to automobile and vendor displays.  Identifying the automotive “Best of the Best”, with custom award recognition at the Sunday Awards Ceremony is a favorite among enthusiasts.

Classes to include:

Class 1 – Prewar Stock (Up to ’42)
Class 2 -  Prewar Modified (Up to ’42)
Class 3 – American Classic Stock (‘43 –‘78)
Class 4 – American Classic Modified (‘43 –‘78)
Class 5 – Non American Classic (’43 – ‘78)
Class 6 – Late Model Exotics
Class 7 – Porsche Corral
Class 8 – Corvette Corral
Class 9 – Ferrari Corral
Class 10 – Thunderbird Corral
Class 11 – Rolls Royce & Bentley Corral

The Sunday “Wine Walk” will again be supported by  6 outstanding Central Coast wineries pouring wine in our commemorative wine glasses.

New to the festivities will be a casual Saturday evenings dinner with dancing to live music under the stars, to be held the Monarch Club adjacent to the golf course.  This will be the community’s charitable “Event of the Year”, available to all who are wise enough to purchase their tickets early.
